Just received my Feb. Hemmings Classic car issue Special Packard Collector's issue Has a lot of Packard info articles on 1905, 1910, 1935, 1937, 1939, 1948, 1954, and 1957. I always like their articles have a lot of nice color pictures. Also has Artical about the Packard Balboa.

nothing of the '55-'56 Packards?

I love their magazine. They couldn't do a feature on a '55 400?

Update: I quickly thumbed through my works copy of Hemmings Classic Car. Beautiful Spread.

It's like Packard Pornography.- "Ohhh.Check out the headlights on that '35."

What is this topic doing in the Studebaker-Packard section? Seem it would get better exposure if posted in the General Discussion section. Kevin, what do you think?

Agreed, since the Issue in question is covering a swath of Packard Models, the General Section is probably a more appropriate venue.

Just got my issue today, and what a pleasure to have an issue dedicated to Packard. But in just browsing I see that Hemmings Classic Car continues to suffer from inadequate proof-reading. For example in the article on the 1935 "Standard Eight", the model of course is the "Eight", the "standard" part of the name having been dropped some years before. And the reference to Bob Bahre in Maine as Bob Behr; really, for a titan in the pre-war Classic Era Packard segment of the hobby, you'd think they'd get his name correct. Good proofing should capture these and other "nits", but still an issue worthy of having and holding.

I agree Dave, but small nits are excusable when the overall objective has been met. I do wonder at the lack of 55-56 Packards, but they are just a favorite of mine, not everyone's cup of tea.
Tea? Who the H__L drinks tea?
Calling Paul Cornwell's Executive a Patrician seems a glaring fault.
All in all, well worth the $5.
