Thanks for posting that link.

My mother, father and two uncles (one on each side) were on Oahu, Hawaii on December 7, 1941. My dad and his brother were on Ford Island in the middle of Pearl Harbor at the time of the attack. My dad and some other sailors had to break into the munitions locker to get M1s to shoot back. My mother's brother and his wife had just gotten out of bed when a Jap Zero straffed their house. Their roof and bed looked about like that Packard in pic #5. Like the Packard, they were nowhere near any military target. My mother was in Honolulu and wasn't shot at directly by the Japs although some of the 5in rounds from some of the USA ships firing at the Japs landed near her (friendly fire). All except my uncle on my Dad's side have since passed.
