Interesting but for some reason the modern low and swoopy themes just don't look Packard to me. It would really be interesting to see the direction Packard would have taken had they the opportunity but if the way Cadillac of the last 10 years or so went is any indication--------

All these designs were on display at the Packard Proving Grounds last November - courtesy of the David McIntosh who co-organized the event with all the guys and gals of the League of Retired Auto Designers. Many of these designers were on hand for the four day event, The show was meant to honor Bill Robinson and his gift to the PPG of 12 Packard, original, concept car renderings he sketched in the early 1950s when he was at Briggs Body Co.

Glad to see them again here, but it was a lot nicer to see the renderings in person and meet with all the designers. Too bad more of you folks don't live near the PPG.
