I'm sounding like a broken record, but people forget to use "Search" box for topics and suppliers.
The Packard pressure plate is as sturdy as the Ford, but has adjustable fingers for smoother, more refined operation. Again, Jeff Adkins, Moose Motors, Penngrove (Petaluma, CA) has the original Packard jigs to rebuild Packard pressure plates, which he also provides, as well as mechanical and electrical parts for 1935-56 Packards, drum brake parts for all cars Auburn through Zephyr. I tried the search box using various wordings & came up a blank. , There is nothing about 10" clutch in the Parts cross-referance on this page and I'm in Australia, I'll source what i can locally before looking for options from overseas. I had no original pressure plate to rebuild. Engine going in a Chrysler 29 speedster but didnt think to mention as its not relevant to the clutch cross compatibility.

I read in more than one place that the Ford pressure plate tends to chatter when used in a heavier Packard. I've never used one myself, always preferring to rebuild my original Packard assemblies, so can't say if it's true or not.
The search at the bottom of the site seems to find things that the upper does not.

I know it sure chattered in my '38 Ford Pick-up. No comparison to the ultra smooth action of my Packard.

GoingBush, i doubt shipping to Down Under vastly more expensive than within the States in this day and age. I sold a bulky part to a Packard owner in Norway and it wasn't greatly more than shipping to Canada or across the nation. Jeff Adkins will have the original Packard pressure plate as well.
Your project sounds interesting, esp. as i'm also a Chrysler fan. You may've read L.J.K. Setright. His favorite marques were Chrysler and Honda. While no fan of modern 350 SBC "retro rods," i can appreciate the real thing using vintage drivetrains. Big Kev, founder/host of this terrific site, is crafting a Jackard, or Packuar; a '37 Six conv. with XK six, which should be interesting, too. Do you know or know of Peter Toet, technical officer of the Australian Packard Club? He and wife Ann own many interesting Packards, some mildly "tuned" but the real thing, and live in Canberra. Peter might have insight. He built Down Under's, perhaps the world's, fastest Mazda RX3 drag car for his son, and once re-engineered US Mack trucks for the Aussie army. All best.

Junior Packard has three finger pressure plate, Senior Packard has four finger pressure plate. I went for a multi finger Ford pressure plate, with an SLR 5000 clutch plate. Straight bolt up and no shudder...for my 1938 120 with 54 327 set up.
