I've been wondering if pink paint and a V8 in a Packard means "restored". I figured Owen would LOVE this one!

Restored Pink 110

It has all the new Packard features for 1939, including: "Upgrades include V-8 with modified cam rebuilt about 40,000 miles ago, automatic transmission, power brakes, power steering, cruise control, electric fuel pump, am/fm cassette, tilt steering wheel, directional signals, new safety glass all around with new rubber seals on doors and windows."

I didn't know Packard had all those back then!

Not to pick nits, but you forgot to mention the fuzzy dice and purple velour upholstery options.

I shouldn't laugh - it belonged to an old friend of mine.

Good God, what a waste! One wouldn't be in touch with their "feminine side" driving this car, you'd be grasping it with both hands and feet! Without a doubt the ugliest Packard I've ever seen. We should make them remove the hood ornament and Packard symbols just to keep from insulting the manufacturer.

Wow! Just wow...

My car has pulled some mean little tricks that have, at times, made me less than pleased. What could that car have done to the poor fellow to have done that to it in retribution?

Do you think that is a custom color, or right out of the color chart?

It is a very 'striking' color.

Anyone choosing it, should be 'strikin' by 'lightnin' (twice in a painful place.)

As far as 'feminine side' goes, I know many self-respecting-women who would NOT be caught within 30 feet of that critter.

Burrrrrrr ....

DanL

PS: But then, I certainly don't want to squelch discussion from anyone who is enthusiastic about Mary Kay pink-lavander hybrid colors.

Perhaps its a Pepto Bismol promotion vehicle! Funny thing is that it actually upset my stomach.
