Rich,
First a broad statement - mechanically '38 and '41 Eights/120's are very similar, except for floor versus column shift and the availability of an OD and A/C. I had a '38 Eight Touring Sedan before I bought a '41 One-Twenty Club Coupe so I'm familiar with both years. Just think it would come down to style and how attractive each would be to the eye of the beholder.
