Just wanted to say 'beautiful car'!! Re the interior/top conventions, thinking Mr. Santana would probably be a good source on info on that, as he is very well versed in such details. Chris.

My suggestion would be to start by consulting the Darvin Kuehl book on the restoration of the 1935-37 junior Packards.

There were 6 colours of leather available for the 1937 convertibles:
Blue, gray, green, tan and black depending on paint scheme. Red available at extra cost for any paint scheme.

Joe Santana shepherds the 'Duchess', a '40 convertible and has done extensive restorations on all facets of the car. I suggested him as your car being a convertible, would have lots in common with his, and he is a generous contributor on this site. Chris.

Chris is trying to get me in trouble.
Grouch, You will have a little work to do cross referencing codes for Paint, Striping, and Trim (upholstery), but all the info is here in the Literature section. If you go to the 1935-1941 Packard Parts List Go to Group 30 - Body On pages 3-4 and 6, you'll find all available paint schemes for a 1099 1937 120C convertible coupe, the correct color pinstripe for each, and leather color for that paint scheme. I didn't see any Yellows in the color section, so I'm guessing it's Packard Cream L-136, which is Paint Scheme T. Which has Trim Code 22, which for other year convertibles is Tan leather. The pinstripe color is beyond me if it is L-1778 but it may be L-177S (for stripe?) in which case...L-177 is Casino Red. Standard tops were Khaki. You may have to look hard for. that. Most are beige. It's not the same. For additional cost you could have black, but with Cream and Tan, Khaki would look best. IMHO Do you know the name of the color of your car? Is the pin stripe (under the windows and around the wheels) currently red? At least in 1940 you could have red leather with any Paint Scheme. I love mine, but tan is standard. OK Beat me with a stick.

The original brass data plate did not come with the car when I bought it, but I'm assuming the color is Packard Cream. The original owner looks like he was restoring this as original as possible and I'll continue to stay that route. Unfortunately the seats were blue and the rumble seat is a brown color currently and there is no convertible top. So I'll have to finish on those tasks and hopefully do the best I can to keep it OG. And with the help of all of you great folks I'll get there. But yes I concur I think it'll look great with that tan upholstery and khaki top and that's the route I wanted to go but wanted to make sure I choose the correct colors. There's no pinstriping currently on the car, I believe it is an 80's restoration. The one good thing is according to pictures I've found online it looks as if the current seats at least have the correct patterns so I can just get the upholster to recreate the patterns just with that tan colors.
