It is not surprising to find applied arts on PackardInfo.com presented by a man who pursues three interests in his life, namely cars, women and art according to his profil data.

StraightEights&Aces, that is what I have found:

"...George McManus, creator of Jiggs, Maggie, Dinty Moore and other characters in 'Bringing up Father,' says that to date Jiggs and Maggie have been able to agree on only one thing. And that is, that when it concerns motor cars, Packard is the only car to buy..."

If they are authentic, those wheel trim rings that covers the spokes is almost never seen - very rare option. Upper right in this page from the accessory manual.

An artist/cartoonist who seems to have had a soft spot for Packards was Charles Addams (the cartoonist who inspired "The Addams Family" T.V. series).

Randy, when it comes to Packards & trains, then according to this source another man has to be mentioned next to the two of you: Harold S. "Mike" Vanderbilt, owner of a NYC-3 private railcar - and a Packard, of course!

To my amazement I found a German comic, titled "The Packard Gang", containing the crime story of a robber band and their getaway car.
