This is a company I found on the HAMB that supplies automotive insulation. I would like to use their stuff if I get my car to that point before the next ice age
![]() lobucrod.com/ No affiliation, but their stuff looks pretty cool. yuk yuk They all show metal side to passenger compartment. I would worry about what I put on the doors if it goes in a place where it could get wet if/when a little bit of water comes in through the wiskers of the windows. You don't want to trap moisture between the insulation and metal ![]()

New wide angle snaps.
May not be apparent but the a/c is located several inches to the right of center. I'm 6'4"+ and wanted a bit more knee room....

While on the subject of A/C, I'll show you mine. No compressor or hoses to worry about. Even no evaporator. But it sure blows a lot of "air".
