I have used Hirsch..i find it better use the conveter stuff then Hirsch. Home depot has rustoleum rust converter. I used on my quarter panel spray can.

I used JASCO Prep & Primer and bought it at Lowe's. Just follow the directions. Easy to use and it is not messy. I painted over the treated surfaces with enamel paint.

Rustoleum rust converter is what I use on everything. Excellent product.
