Typically the vacuum system was also quieter as the motor under the dash, when electric, tended to make more noise than the nearly silent vacuum system. Once moved under the hood as on later models this wasn't so much a problem.

Should add that the change to electric on 1941 160/180 is also a bolt in using the 1941 110/120 complete set up...

I do like the vacuum wipers since you can adjust the speed depending on conditions as opposed to electric where it is only one or two speeds.
