Diamond Back, last we looked, will not make a white wall 4-4 1/4 inches wide, which is what you want for an old car. Cars the age of your '65 Cadillac never had such wide whites.

But again, consider eschewing white walls. You really "see" the car. We were flipping through a friend's The Classic Car, quarterly of the CCCA, laughing that page after page was of glaring white walls. Too shrill, too loud, as mentioned above. It comes down to wanting an understated, quietly elegant barouche, or another parade float.

Diamond Back does indeed do 4" white walls at this point, at least on the Auburn Deluxe.

I think black walls look great on some models, white walls better on others. The pre wars with black walls and dark paint are some of my favorites.

The point was that they can make custom widths but you have to contact them directly.
