Hi

Those "whiskers" were all the rage in '42. Wonder who was peeking in whose styling studio when these were under development? After all, both were coming from Briggs...

Enough speculation about industrial espionage, more Contours and Teagues around the country.

A '53 Clipper Special, stick, 63K miles:

A '53 convertible project with parts car, pricy start:
nmi.craigslist.org/cto/5124072233.html

A '54 Clipper project in primer, rebuilt engine:
newyork.craigslist.org/jsy/cto/5118278059.html

A '55 Clipper Custom sedan, looks solid and is cheap!:

A '55 "Partitian" Patrician, solid white, could be rust-free Colorado starter project for the right price:

Hi

Buyers at the $65K level considering a '48-'50 Packard are centered on restored convertibles and station sedans, one supposes this Eight sedan owner fails to recognize that.

Here are more reasonably-priced offerings.

Two '46 Clipper Eights:
First, looks good, a bit pricey:
fresno.craigslist.org/cto/5136324661.html
Second, a major project, cheap (to start-costly later):
minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/cto/5135964394.html

Two '47 Clippers,
First, a handsome Custom Super 7 passenger, looks great:
sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/5116727467.html
Second & third, a major projects, look solid:
sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/5136184300.html
albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/5135221123.html

'49 22nd Super Eight Deluxe, maroon, more reasonably priced:
losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/cto/5115498758.html
'49 23nd Super Eight, project, stick shift, cheap:
spokane.craigslist.org/cto/5063157447.html

Two '50 Eights:
A touring sedan, turquoise, bit pricey:
vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/cto/5077755190.html
A club sedan, project, looks solid:

Is the dash correct on that car? No engine pics always makes me leary.
