The 23rd series car appears to be an Eight DeLuxe or Super Eight. The 22nd series car has Custom Eight side trim but a lower model grille, so?

Prewar selections:
1927 packard fresh from a long slumber :

41 120 convertible coupe, priced very reasonable $25k OBO :
harrisburg.craigslist.org/cto/5291905271.html

Or do you rather have a 1940 packard kenny (Henney)
sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/5291396841.html

Or a 41 110 sedan for $17k?http://boulder.craigslist.org/cto/5292013956.html
(I think I would spend a few more $$ and get the convertible)

The guy with the "kenny" is obviously delusional about it's value.

If he had added a decimal point it might sell but a 49 it is not. I expect this might be one of those owners who think all old cars are savings accounts on wheels. It will take a real (and substantial) savings account before it is worthy of that asking price.

It is not a 49. Either a 41 or 42 with a 46/47 grill.

There is an excellent article on the Henney Juniors by Thomas McPherson in The Professional Car, #145, 3rd Quarter 2012 and anyone interesting in these would be well-served by getting a copy of that issue. In the photo it appears the rear quarter window on the driver's side may be missing, if so I suspect that will be the most challenging part to find. With total production of only 500 Juniors (2 in 1952, 378 in 1953, and 120 in 1954) there surely aren't many survivors available for glass and other unique parts.

An unrestored non running 1928 sedan sold by Earle Anthony coming out of 50 yr storage. I think they're a little too optimistic about the asking price.
