I stepped away for a few weeks during the holidays.
Just got back into my shop last week.

I picked up some of the interior pieces this morning.
He is still working on the door panels and the back of the rear seat.
I will start reconnecting the power seat frame to the lower portion soon.

I have ordered the carpet from StockInteriors.com and hope to have it next week.

I am trying to finish up the front door power windows.
Still hoping someone will post a picture of how the window regulators in the rear are installed.

It is going to be pretty cold next week so don't know how much I can work out there.

Sorry Stewart

I've done it many times.. but. I can't recall.

It's something I remember when I do it..

But seems to me it's easier than the door.

Thank you, those pictures do provide a little more knowledge than I had before.

What I need now is a photo similar to the first image below. I need to see which holes are used to bolt the 3 parts into place.

I am holding the regulator, in image 3, as it is shown in the drawing in image 2. None of the holes match up with the mounting locations on the regulator.

The long straight bar that goes across the bottom is the only piece I can match up to the holes.

I have manual windows and I have all the holes except this one. Also note the hole hiding behind the tape.

I think the regulator needs to be mounted a lot lower than you are holding it, right?

Is this photo correct?

That one comment "I think the regulator needs to be mounted a lot lower than you are holding it, right?", may have made all the difference.

I just assumed that it was mounted higher, inside the curve of the window rail. It never dawned on me that might be mounted that low but the holes do align. I did not even know that the bottom bolt hole was down there.

I lost all the disassembly pictures a couple of years ago.

Been 40 years since I had mine apart but I believe that is correct. Also remember it is a PIA to reach around that part to get the clip on the bar connection when the window is in a certain position. Other than the spring in the motor regulator section there is little to no mechanical advantage so motor strains to lift the heavy glass. Suggest trying to lube the lower curved guide and inner panel track sliding parts well with a non drying water resistant lube and be sure to adjust the window position in the upper curved fuzzy lined channel to be as well centered as you can get to present as little friction as possible.

On the motors, I don't know if you had planned to use the aftermarkets on the quarters like you did the fronts but as far as I know the modern motors have not been tested for strength to see if the same motors as used in front can raise the quarter windows.

I am planning to convert to the new motors on the rear windows. We will see how/if that works.

I braved the cold today. It was 22 degrees in the shop when I arrived.

I remounted the power front seat contraption (what the motor mounts to) today. It took me about 40 minutes to get the two roll pins in place.

Then I realized I had them facing the wrong way toward the back seat. So I get the start over again when get back out there.
