A question on the 120C touring sedan: The bumpers have the center painted stripe, I thought only the 36s came that way or am I mistaken (again)?

I owned an original unrestored 120C sedan from 1974 until 2003. The bumpers had painted stripes and they appeared to be original. If you check the 1937 sales brochure (in Spanish) on this site the illustrations show painted stripes on all the 120 models. The 115C Sixes used a different bumper bar that had no stripe.

Apologies, this probably doesn't belong in this thread but the removable door pillar triggered my memory.

The "Business" sedans and limousines are perhaps among the least-known of the late prewar Packards; on the rare occasion when when is found it is often mistaken for regular sedan and limousine. They are "detrimmed" versions of them with a widened rear axle and rear fenderwell modifications to allow a wider rear seat. They were offered from 1937 until at least 1941, perhaps 1942 and all that I'm personally familiar with were on a senior chassis but with lesser trim and luxury touches. For example the 1941 models lacked the lower fender trim strips.

I'm not suggesting the 6-cylinder car is one of these as I don't think they were ever offered on a junior chassis but the removable door pillar was a common (perhaps optional) feature found on the Business Sedans and Limos. I had a chance to examine a 1941 160 Business Sedan a few years ago; the removable door pillar was on the curb side, the front seat was split so the passenger seat was individually adjustable and removable (perhaps an optional feature) and there was no front passenger side sun visor. They had their own separate sales brochure/catalog, some excerpts enclosed.
