I wouldnt think at these power levels anything more than a crush sleeve is needed but I did see that spacer and shim set up from the factory. Maybe due to the weight of the vehicles. What size ring gears on the tanks? I am only familiar with 7.5 up to 10 n change on some GMC trucks.

Ok, Good Idea, Bad Idea.

I just got back from Jersey and picked up the 5588 352 with a 2x4 intake with a fresh rebuild from a local speed shop.

I am seriously considering dropping this into my Pat.

Thoughts?

One Dana 53 overhaul,,,,,,Check. Install the brake dust shields and then the brakes and it will be ready to mount to the frame as assembly begins. Back lash turned out sweet right on the money.

A really nice bit of work. Are you going to paint over the bolt heads/washers and tags? I suspect the unit was painted after the cover was installed.

Ill buff out the tags and clear coat them.

I thought about leaving the bolts metallic but it looks a bit dorkey.

I will either paint the bolts black to match or replace them with Stainless which will look way better than the metallic.

Looks good! What is the program that you're using to keep track of p/n's and expenses? The "build.jpg" picture? Is it just excel?
