It states a 6 cylinder (stuck) was that standard for '42?
I thought that Packard had gone to all 8's by then. Was it maybe a left over engine as the war was on? Interesting!

The 1941 Clipper was only offered as a 4-door touring sedan and the 8-cylinder 282 engine. In 1942 the Clipper line was expanded to a full line adding 2-door models and a senior line of 160 and 180 models with the 356 engine. The traditional bodied Packard line was greatly reduced. The 1946-47 Clippers continued as was offered pre-war and as the only model line. It is all described in the Packard Model Info section.

I think I've seen this for sale a while back and now it's on a trailer. Someone trying to make a quick flip?

Anyone near Sandusky, Ohio (between Cleveland and Toledo) can check out a 1951 Packard 200 Club Sedan that will be available at auction on March 18, 2017. The auction listing is slim on details, but the four pictures that are provided suggest the car may be a decent builder.

If anyone attends, let us know the auction results.
