When did the Packard Twin Sixes go to detachable cylinder heads? Is this a 1st or 2nd series car? JWL
Non-detachable cylinder heads on the Twin Six was the first year only.

That 56 Patrician indicates that it is a well traveled car.
A Bell Kettle Detroit dealer tag on the trunk, what looks like A Texas inspection sticker on the windshield, and it currently resides in New Jersey. It doesn't look too bad for a car with 90,0000 on it, if I'm reading the odometer correctly. I wonder what number it is.

Wow, the maroon/tan and black '53 Clippers are steal for that money! Especially the maroon/tan. These both look like you could jump in them, turn the key and drive down the road. Both of those would be great starter Packards for someone interested in collecting.
