Can anyone share information about the fuel injected Packard? I would enjoy hearing about, and I am sure others would too, what kind of system, how it was adapted, how its working, cost, maintenance, etc. Thanks.

Here's some pics of the fuelie Executive, and if you ask me, it doesn't look like anything that the factory did, but looks more like a homemade job judging by the plate that bolts to the stock 4bbl intake and the half-a$$ed look of the injector bungs. (not to mention the throttle body) If that's what Packard did, they did a shitty job. Pic courtesy of Istelling:

For comparison, there is at least one known photo of the factory prototype 1956 with fuel injection. Like most everyone's early attempts, it was not fully satisfactory. I believe that underhood photo of the FI is already somewhere on this site.
