today I report what seems to be more a curious effect than an error. The active field inside of the symbolic chat window at the left contained for approximately 5 minutes a regular flashing copy of the complete website (screen shot attached).
Perhaps I should change my drinking habits.

I don't think you need to change any habits--The site is still experiencing some pains. Yesterday it had some periods of very slow connect----almost like those in the initial server times where the sharing was way too much and everything was slow. Today only one slow try so far-- so it is mostly good in connecting. But----While you may have seen the flashing website, I watched my browser information bar flash "connected" "waiting for Packardinfo" and "trying to connect" in rapid sequence all the while looking at a forum page which seemed to be OK.

I was making some changes to code. So that was expected. No worries there.

Ok pretty everything is working now. One outstanding issue is the auto-login on the Chat Room. I even have the guy that wrote that chat room software scratching his head why it isn't working. We think perhaps it has something to do with a low level security setting on the server and cookie settings. So that may take a bit longer to get figure out.

But the chat room does work as before, you just need to supply your PackardInfo username and password again to log into it. So one extra step until I say get to the bottom of it.

Hey, if it works for you wonderful. Hmmm....perhaps my browser is holding onto an old cookie or something.

Hmmm.....something about my Safari browser is causing the problem on my side. Works fine in IE. I know that Safari recently updated. Perhaps it is blocking cookies or something.

Glad to know it is not on the server side of the house.

Is the chat room under the artistic direction of somebody from Oz? I chanced to hear something like software piracy ...
