1936 120 Henney ambulance. I didn't know they did this in 36 to the junior line:

1936 120 Henney ambulance. I didn't know they did this in 36 to the junior line:

BDC, 1935 was a keynote year for Packard professional vehicles as in that year they introduced commercial chassis in every line except the Twelve, the 120A (120), the 1200A (Eight), and the 1203A (Super Eight). I don't recall exactly but I think the exclusive supply agreement with Henney didn't come along until 1938 or so.

As I understand it, the exclusive agreement began in 1937.

That could be right Don, I suppose the answer will be found in the AQ book or one of McPherson's publications. But I thought 1938 because of that exceptionally lovely art-carved A. J. Miller hearse on the 1938 120 chassis that used to make the show circuits regularly. Do you wish a photo of it?

Thank you for the offer and I would love a photo of it, I've seen pictures but only the low resolution half-toned versions as published in books. Unless you want to post it, please PM me for my direct email or contact me through my site below.

Old Kodachrome, taken at the 1993 Packard National in Asheville, NC. Those A. J. Miller art-carved were stunning!

As Packard had supplied some 1938 chassis to Miller, that's why I thought their exclusive with Henney couldn't have been consummated in 1937.
