JW, are you sure when you say 39? The rear of this one just does not look like a 39 to me. It looks much earlier. I'm sure you know much more about them that this humble beginner does but I've had a 39 (Super 8 until misfortune forced a sale) and the rear body work looked nothing the same. Gene

JW is correct. His post was regarding the post previous to the one that appeared just before his... the one in Sacramento.

The car that BDC posted, which the seller told him was a 1936, is actually a 1933 or '34 model.

The 37/38 project in Sacramento is actually a 39-120 and very interesting in that it has a 288/327 in it. Would make a really great driver, especially if the engine was a dealer install/upgrade with all the right bits. Someone save this one please...

Saw this one in person, Silver Spring, NV.

reno.craigslist.org/cto/4060997638.html

Good solid car but I think 3K would be more like it.
Some trim was off due to what looked like an old quicky repaint, car didn't look like it had been driven in some time. Dirty interior, motor, some minor perforation in the driver's floor but overall, straight & clean. Can't remember how clean the chrome was. Power windows. 5K would be an extremely generous offer.
Happy Hunting!
