Does this part number tell exactly what it fits?
#387633

Also, written in magic marker, are the numbers:
387657
50401 or maybe 5.0401

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look in group 5.0402 of 51-4 parts manual. It is a .001 undersize crank bearing and used in most if not all of the smaller postwar engines in various locations -- #5 on some engines , #9 on a couple and I just skimmed the list so may have missed others.. 387657 doesn't show as a valid number in my revision of the numerical index.

Thanks. I was told these were for 1935-37 Super Eight. However, there's a pretty big difference between 1935-36 and 1937 Super Eight engine, so a red flag went up.

There's a box of four of these. Is this a half set?
