I've got one headlight tilted a bit higher than the other. If I want to level it off with the other one, how do I do that ?
Thanks
Tom

The bolts under the fender control the up and down. There should be a cover that protects the wires that needs to be removed. Then back off the two nuts and the large bolt till the head light can be adjusted. Good luck

Thank Dell. I went under and found them. Do you simply use a screwdriver and pry that cover off, or is there some special attention that needs to be given to its removal ?
Thanks again,
Tom

You should see two fairly large studs and nuts protruding thru the cover and holding it in place.

Yes I see them now and thanks OD.
Next question: Do you simply use a screwdriver and pry that cover off, or is there some special attention that needs to be given to its removal ?
Thanks again,
Tom

It should practically fall off of its own weight after the nuts are removed. Perhaps yours is being retained by paint? Or rust?

There are two nuts and lock washers that hold the cover on, take off the nuts and the cover should fall off- might be enough dirt to hold it, should just pull off. There are inner and outer nuts on the two shafts, the outer cover is some times called a turtle and the plates that hold it on are bean shaped. the large bolt goes all the way over to the radiator, it and the inner nuts just need to be loosened up and the light should move. The parts in the picture should come off to expose the nuts that need to be loosened.
