This picture is of the Rockafeller Center parking garage in New York City dated 1941. There are a couple of Packards in the garage. Being Rockafeller Center, I bet they belonged to somebody really important.

Interesting photo, I'd not seen it before. What's the source for the photo?

Our local car club visited the Rockefeller estate over in Westchester County (NY), Kykuit, 2 years ago and got a special tour of the carriage house which still contains quite a collection of the family cars. We also had a tour of the carriage house of the Vanderbilt estate up along the Hudson above Poughkeepsie which housed the family's Cadillac V16 town car and a huge Crane-Simplex.

Interesting two-tone paint on the 1940 180 in the foreground of the first picture. I see a 1940 convertible sedan in the back.

I live in northern-eastern New Jersey, just a few miles west of the GW bridge and a few miles south of the Tappan Zee bridge. Been here 68 years but never heard of Fort Mott - where is (was) it? Obviously not familiar with it. The longest-running show in this area is AACA's Jersey Region meet, with I believe it's 60th annual coming up. It's in Florham Park (near Morristown) at Automatic Switch Co., a firm owned and operated for many years by Dutch Darrin's brother.
