1935 1202 radiator and cowl lacing replacement

I'm trying to replace my lacing at both ends of my hood. I bought replacemnt parts from Max merritt and I belive they supplied me with the correct items, Lacing, lacing wire, and hooked retainers. The car currently has lacing with no wire, and brass heads with a split tail retaining the lacing. Those split tail brass retainers have failed in several spots and I would like to repair this as close to factory as possible.

Does anyone have experince or pictures they can share on where the these retainers go. Pictures of factory or original would be most helpful.

I am restoring a 1936 standard 8 and was trying to figure my Cowel lacing and grill lacing too. Mine was a basket case and never saw it installed. I would like to see Cowel and grill lacing pictures also. Thanks

Dean

There are several cup and hook bolts you can see and staples with a metal guard that goes inside along with the cup and nut. The grill will require me to look for a bag of grill parts. Feel free to PM me for my phone number. Dell
