does anyone know what these 2 bumper guards fit. they were in the trunk of my 53 clipper when I bought it. they do not seem to fit my bumpers. one has a R stamped in the bracket and one has an L stamped in the bracket, both have ASC stamped in the bracket as you will see there is an extra notch cut in the bottom

Do you have a bigger picture? It's hard to make out at that size.

The pictures are too dark to mske an intelligent guess. From the shadows I would guess that there is a bolt with a nut on it sticking up, but I can't see the bolt or the nut, just the shadow.

They dont appear to be 51-56 Packard related in any way that I know of.

They don't look like any bumper guards I've ever seen on the front bumper of any year of Packard. Not so sure of the back bumper. They look similar to the front bumper guards on the '57 Ford. I guess no cigar for me.
