Is the 1955 clipper a 12 volt system and how many of the parts on the 1955 were updated and can be used on the 1954 model?

Really depends on the parts in question. If you have a Special/Deluxe '54 Clipper then the brakes, and wheels are the same as the '55 Clipper. Taillights are the same. Electrical is a different of course as is most of the trim and interior.
