The door window slots on my 37 120 coupe convertible are just open without any of that fuzzy stuff on either side of the window. Should there be fuzzy stuff there or is it correct to just have the open slot?

Thanks for your advise,

Rod

Can you see holes in the metal for the clips that would normally be there? You would have to have the window up several inches so that you could see these "clip" holes thru the glass.

rvsls,

I don't have my 37 Six Convertible Coupe at home right now, but I believe that there are no "whiskers" in the door window channels. The 115C and 120C should be the same for this part.

rvsls,

I had the unexpected opportunity to drive the '37 Convertible Coupe this past weekend. Yes there are "whisker" or fuzzy strips on both sides of the door window channels.

Thanks for all the help. Just to clarify myself, on my car, there is fuzzy stuff in the tracks but there is no fuzzy stuff on either side of the window between the outer door panel and the inner door panel where the window drops down into the door.

This is the area I am concerned about, not the tracks themselves.

Rod,

The areas you describe are the ones I was talking about, not the tracks, but the inner and outer panels.

Assuming they called it the same in 37 as in later years, there are a lot of listings of dust seals for various models in the 35-41 parts book.
