Probably a gravel shield to protect oil pan. Maybe the car was used on alot of dirt roads.

Seems a not entirely unreasonable price. If you bought the same car here and paid the shipping to Denmark, that would probably cost about $2800, give or take. Assuming decent mechanicals, if you put $25,000 into it in the right places, you'd probably still have your head above water.
