Looked on the Parts X-Ref and don't see any listed for 1951. Are they the same as the '54 Big Kev listed?

If not where is a good source for 1951 rear brake shoes and linings?

MT

Kanter has new brake shoes . The other alterative is to find an old line brake shop to thave them relined. Thy should be contoured to fit the drums. Talk to the brake shop about this and report back if there is a problem

'54 Clippers Specials and Deluxe NOT the same as 54 Supers, and all 53 Clippers and priors. The '54s use a smaller drum like the 55s.

Try your local Napa. I just did a brake job on a 1953 senior Packard (shoe size different than clipper) and Napa had an illustrated catalog which helped in getting correct shoes. I believe the Clipper shoes are common. Good luck

I already went to my local Napa, and they could only find stuff for '54 and newer.
I also tryed O'Reilly and they asked me if a Packard was some kind of boat, so they couldn't help me either.

Kanter!

Why are you messing around with NAPA or cross references, just go to Kanter. While you're in there, look at the wheel cylinders, etc...they have 2 kits that cover "Most" and "All" of the brake bits, might as well replace what needs it while you're at it...If you order online, you also get free shipping, and 10% off over $500.

I love Kanter, sometimes i think i should get a commission...they're a great resource for "One stop shopping" for specialized, hard to find vintage parts with great c/s.

While Kanter does carry most of the parts, many times the parts cant be found locally for far cheaper prices. Which for those like me that are on a tight budget, it makes the difference between movie that car forward or not.

Your 1951 200 coupe front and rear brake shoes/lining are the same size 12 x 1 3/4. The Wagner number for the shoes is WC 2003. This may help with a x reference along with your existing shoes as a sample when looking in the illustrated catalog. My local Napa was very helpful but was time consuming looking at every picture. I also have another source -his business is in Morris,Illinois and he does mail-order. Again good luck.

Also, same vehicle, but from Napa:

Brake Shoes - Rear, Tru-Stop
Part Number: TS TS30
Product Line: Rayloc Tru-Stop
IMPORTANT INFO: w/ 12" x 1.75" Brakes

As I said, you will need to compare your existing shoe with this one to see if they will work as the shoe frame itself may be different. This match is based solely (no pun intended) on the shoe size.
