Pretty cushy winter thus far here in North Jersey. Temps about 55 F. today, expected to hit 60 tomorrow, about 30 deg. above normal for January! Only one small snow, about 3/4 of an inch which melted within a few hours. But with 220 feet of sidewalk plus double-wide driveway and a somewhat long walkway to the house, I'm ready.

Drove the 55 Clipper about 40 miles yesterday to visit a Packard friend. Today is drizzly and we are expecting a cold front to pass through tonight. Looks to be like this for the next few days. The rain is welcomed we need the moisture. There is a new location for the Austin Cars & Coffee, which will provide more room for the vehicles and better places to eat. Do not expect too many to attend the first show on Sunday due to weather. I'll wait till February. Central Texas is car friendly country year 'round, except it can get uncomfortably hot in the summer.

60 degrees here today, I backed down the driveway with the Packard just to let it run about 15 minutes. Tough winters up here in Michigan. I don't want to brag too much, I know all that can change overnight.

Cry me a river of tears. 72 F here today in the beauterus Whiskey Hell community of middle Tennessee. RAIN for the last 5 days and nites. Humidity so bad that the garage floor has wall to wall condensation on it. Ground so soggy i don;t dare to let anyone else but me drive any of the automatics with split master cylinder (sticks ok).
Total disassembly today of a Z120 Continental 4 cylinder engine for block repair. Probably drive the Exec tomorrow somewhere. Been driving it quite a bit over the last few weeks. 70 to 75 mph I40 and I24 in the RIGHT lane with most cars passing me. Looking forward to hereing more from the pre-war and post war owners installing overdrives.
