Just can't stay away

Hello guys! Been a bit but I am going to try to start working more on my clipper for the new year to hopefully have her running and driving buy the end of the summer. I was checking eBay and had come across this parts book for the 1941 clipper and I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on if it was worth the $175 asking price? Thanks in advance!

I am not really a literature collector I have a few old ads from my clipper and that is about it. I really appreciate the advice on the reprint I will have to pick one up. I am looking for a functional book to use before I have to come to the experts this site brings together.

I think there is a copy on this web site. Save your $$ for the stuff you will need.

here is the one on this website:
packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/article/view.article.php?282 I bet you can print it for less than $175. Or you can buy a reprint from the Packard Club for for $30!packardclub.org/store/index.php?main_pag ... id=7ff3967d5553b040a17218586f89c88c I suspect many of the manuals on Ebay originally came from sources like the Packard club.....

The section-by-section PDFs of the parts book(s) are indeed well-worth downloading. However, they were scanned with the intent to provide a quick on-screen reference, rather than printing.
Years ago, I tried to print some pages from these PDF files and found it very tedious, because each page is not text, but basically a photo (which, in turns, uses more toner/ink). It doesn't make sense to print more than a few pages for shop use. If you want full hard copy, by all means, buy an affrodable reprint, which (along with shop manuals) should also be available from the bigger Packard parts vendors. I have both PDF and reprints for my cars - and not just Packards. Any originals that I have are now kept separately as part of a literature collection, due to their increasing value.
