No, at some point over the last half century someone has had upholstery work done.

If you have an interior code, you might look in the intro section of the parts manual. See what materials Packard said was used on your car. On some models they used something called "leatherette" and another called "imitation leather". Think those might have been a vinyl like material. I believe they were mostly used on kickpanels, lower doorpanels and maybe seat frame bottoms but not on the actual seats.

Seat cusions and seat backs are leather.
Arm rests are leather. Kick panels, door panels, and seat frames are vinyl.
