Either of the major Packard vendors, Kanter Auto Parts or Max Merritt, can sell you a rebuilt Easmatic. But it's an exchange basis so you'll have to pay a core charge if your core is found to be unrebuildable.

Since you have to take it out anyway, send it off to Ed(?) Strain in Florida and have him rebuild it. He has done all of mine and they work great.

Anyone ever tried to patch pin holes in the large booster diaphragm have found 3. would a diaphragm from later unit fit? does it have to be 53-54?

I have not but maybe Ross has. With some of the compounds available today I wouldn't think it impossible but new is probably safer and available. If the diaphragm you need is the one labeled group 1.358 shown in this later parts illustration they are the same 52-54. Apparently changed for 55 and later. Max has new if you want to go that way.
There is a firmmidwestbooster.com/index.html probably reasonably close to you that has done Treadlevac work for some on site. Perhaps they could give an opinion on whether yours is repairable.

I am a family man, just took wife and son to show and dinner for mothers day and am having obsessive thoughts about this treadle vac system the whole time. got my car apart and I do not like that. your help has saved me time I appreciate that. thanks, thanks, thanks, Ken
