It was on display at the Pebble Beach concours (not concorse) that year too. I saw it being driven off of the green.

Mr. Porsche also worked for Mercedes and Auto Union, but we don't consider those Porsches either. Great find, though. and neat car. I'm not sure I'd want to be in it when it's going at its top speed.

For those with an interest in the very early Packards, nothing comes close to Terry Martin's little book "Packard - The Warren Years", it's described in the Packard bookshelf on this site. Terry, also the author of the first 4 chapters of the Kimes book, came across a trove of new information after the Kimes book was published and thus this is a more accurate source of information.
