That was probably a photo I posted from when Kanter Bros. hosted a meeting at their Packard facility for the Metro Region of the CCCA back in 2012. They have done this as well for the local PAC Region, and also for my local unaffiliated car club where we just last month had Fred as guest speaker.
Did you want to see the photo again? Yes, there were several others showing factory floors piled to the ceilings with parts, as well as photos of some of their cars. If you still can't find the original post, I still have the photos, perhaps 50 of them.

Here's a few other shots from the visit. We also visited their restoration shop the same day.

Thank you Dave for posting the pictures - they convey so much more than the text.

The last photo is a 51 Patrician with a special factory custom interior; it's often referred to as the "furry Patrician". I forget for the moment who supplied the fabrics for the interior but the special tags are still intact with the car. A true factory special for some special show or customer....! Too bad when I was there and took the pictures that it was parked too close to the adjacent car to get the trim and paint codes but I've sent a query to Kanters for that info.
Seat belts not factory equipment, of course. I anticipate that there may be more info on this car in Robert Neal's soon-to-be-published book on the 51-54 Packards.

Most interesting O-D. I note that even the plastic horn rim insert is a different colour scheme to the standard.
Quite a few added appointments and options which gives an idea of what could be added to a standard car back then. Is that a '52 grille? I haven't seen a grille badged in a '51. I guess it could have been fitted retrospectively -??

Well, the hood ornament is a 52, and the color scheme is a 52, which leads me to believe that it's a 52. Of course, with the wild interior, it could just be a complete custom of a 51 body.

I'm curious about the dash. The steering column appears to have a piece of tape lower down on it's surface and the dash above the column looks to have something extra and maybe covered just behind the tape. In a later car that could be suspiciously like accommodations for an AC switch control pod. Was or is there AC -- maybe original or added later -- in the car?
