On the '55 Caribbean. If the engine is so good, how come there is a tow rope attached to the front of it, and to the back of a pickup? Bad transmission maybe?

It looks to be a nice start. On my monitor it looks as if the color is the 56 combination rather than the 55.

I responded on the 33 convertible, and the nephew is trying to sell it but the sick uncle doesn't know that the nephew is trying to sell it.

Hi
A brace of portly Packards: A '48 lwb sedan, decent interior, cheap if it's not too rusty: http://rockford.craigslist.org/cto/4696508290.html An extremely nice original '49 Eight, though needs a replacement lower grille: http://rockies.craigslist.org/cto/4678134884.html If you've considered ownership of these years, this car is the one to pursue. That's upper mid Rocky Mtn Colorado, free of salt and eastern rust. That overpriced '48 Custom Eight in NM again, too rare and desirable not to note. http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/4677603025.html Eventually, someone will talk sense to the owner, buy this rough gem for the right price. Finally, a '49 Eight that proves this series is hard to two-tone well: http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/bar/4695973247.html Steve

This is a 1956 Packard Executive in rather rough shape, but certainly affordable:

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...

This is a '48 with (allegedly) 4,400 miles:
That is a very bright green engine treatment for something supposedly only having 4400 miles. Would kind of make one wonder why. The rubber floor mat is interesting. I know some have the rubber mats but I thought they were full front including over the hump and sort of a gravel pattern. I'm thinking that one is aftermarket but maybe not. If it is Packard maybe someone can say and the photo can be saved for those who have asked to see a good photo of the pattern
