The car has AC.

Can I file the flywheel teeth or will I have to pull the transmission and replace it? I will pull the inspection cover tomorrow and see what the teeth look like.

That gear on the flywheel can be knocked off and a new one heated up and knocked back on.

Thunderbolt says he has a 52 "300" so it probably has an Ultramatic. A replacement flex plate with a good ring gear should be easy to find. Agree with O_D, since the car has AC, get the starter converted to operate on 12-volts.

Wes, no "bad". Advice is still good for those with standard transmissions. How goes your project?

Yea, I have a one track mind at times, still trying to get back on track. Had the engine running sounds nice and quiet.
