Yes I did since I had the entire front clip off of my car at the time. I ordered them all SS and if memory serves it was a few hundred bucks. Everything fit first time and for what it would have cost me in tools, time, materials, trial and error, I felt if was well worth it.

This was back in 2006 so it would be best to give them a call a request a quote.

That would be 5/16" OD, would it not? I appreciate the quick response from all of you. There is a lot of very good info in this thread, as that always seems to be the case.

Technically, it is the O.D. of the tubing, but I've never seen a counterman worth their salt ask that.

Most parts stores will stock tubing (pre-flared or by the 25-foot coil) listed simply by 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 inch. I've also gotten 1/2 and 5/8 by special order.

If a counterperson asks you "I.D. or O.D.?" for this type of tubing, they're either toying with you or not very experienced. In that case, you might wanna take your parts business elsewhere.
