On 55 Caribbeans, 400s and Patricians is the continental kit the same? Meaning, are they interchangeable?

The only postwar production Packards with a factory continental kit (and they were standard equipment) were the 53 and 54 Caribbeans. Anything else you see was an aftermarket add-on.

I personally don't like them either, just curious as Ive seen some and wasn't sure.
