1. I believe throttle linkage is the same on a 1934 and if no one has pictures I can take some.
2. Nickel-plated. I can measure the OD for you if no one else comes along first with an answer. I believe there also should be a short rubber link between the hard line and the connection on the firewall.

Dave,
Thanks for the information. I went through some pictures I took of a 1001 and found one of the oil pressure line. It comes off of the block and has several loops in it before it jogs off to the firewall. I can't tell what the OD, but this would seem to take care of engine body movement and would be simpler for me to handle. On another note, but on the same subject, I'm getting ready to install the panel board (PB) on the firewall before the dash goes in. Should the PB go all the way up the firewall to the cowl or does it terminate before it gets there? Again Thanks For The Input - Marty

Are you still looking for pictures or answers?
On my '34 sedan I believe the pad goes all the way up to the bottom of the cowl but I could go out, uncover the car and take a look. Ditto for an OD measurement on the oil line to the gauge.

Dave,
Thanks for getting back to me. I'm buying the rear end section of an extra driveshaft that Dave (32model901) has and he is going to take some pictures for me. I decided to go all the way to the cowl with the panel board and have already made a pattern. I'll be picking up the board next week from a shop near me. I could however, use a measurement on the OD of the oil line. Really appreciate your help and support with my project. With all the glass in and most of the exterior trim on the car it looks like all one needs to do is get in it and drive away, but there is still a lot of work to do before that happens.

Measured the OD of the oil pressure gauge line with a vernier caliper, readings varied between 0.138" to 0.142" but my hands were too cold to be more precise. It is of course nickel-plated. As to the rubber link at the top, I suspect it was not to protect the line from movement, the coils at the bottom and the length of the line should be more than satisfactory for that especially given how firm and little movement the motor mounts allow. I suspect it was to prevent noise and vibration from reaching the gauge itself. I haven't checked the parts listing to see if 1933 used the same rubber link as 1934.
My interior cowl pad is the original fitment and reaches all the way to the top of the cowl. Anything else? PS - if I'm reading the parts book correctly the rubber hose was not used on the 10th series. This would be consistent with the label on the OEM Weatherhead hose I pictured above and labeled "Packard 1934". Bruce Blevins would probably be the authority on this.

Marston,
A few pictures that should help on #2 #3, along with some of the inside of the firewall. The oil line is .115 to .120 OD and .063 to .068 ID, material is nickle plated copper. Dave

Dave & Dave,
Thanks for the measurements and pictures. I'm going to use 1/8" copper tubing to make the the oil line and will send it out for plating. Dave (32model901) the pictures help a lot in showing me how to layout the stuff behind the dash. It would appear that some of hardware is for a turn signal (I think I remember a previous post by you on this). I'm somewhat confused by the two cables, see pic circled with red and blue. I figured that one is for the speedometer, but not sure about the other. Also, where does he black cable, circle red, come into the inside?

Marston,
Correct, you will see some additional wiring, for the turn signals I added and for the overdrive unit. Also the coil is not an original style, and is mounted on a bracket behind the dash. Red circle is the speedometer cable, blue is the choke. The fuse holder to the left of the red circle is not original, this is for the Gear Vendors overdrive solenoid. Dave
