Here are 2 different rocker arm sets please tell me what years and model they fit. I also have an 8 cylinder block with a date of 1926 the best I can tell. The bore in the block is bigger than a 29 standard 8 did they have a super 8 in 26? the block is in a storage area that I have and I cant get a good picture of that.

Early models had stamped rocker arms, later had forged - they can be interchanged (see the Service Letters).

The smaller 8 (320 ci, 3-3/16 bore) was introduced with the 6th Series. The 1st and 2nd Series 8 was a 3-3/8 x 5 engine (357 ci); it became the 385 cubic inch 3-1/2 x 5 the following year; crankshaft and timing order also changed at the same time. In addition to the obvious difference in the bore the 1st and 2nd Series 8s can be distinguished as they have the timing order 1-3-2-5-8-6-7-4 cast into the block on the passenger side. Beginning with the 3rd Series it became the more or less industry standard 1-6-2-5-8-3-7-4.
