Hi

A variety from round the Pacific Northwest:

A '37 115 sedan, nicely restored, sweet six:
seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/5472709025.html

A '48 Super Eight convertible 22nd Series, ready to enjoy:
seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/5428951932.html

A '50 Super Eight 23rd Series, solid, missing interior, pricey:
seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/5488907196.html

A '53 Cavalier, nice car, low price, video available:
portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/5468120521.html

Now, a very rough '52 200 sedan, take a look at its condition then read:

"My first car when I moved to Oregon in 1976"
"Downsizing forces sale - hope for a good home"
"My solid companion for many years - deserves a good home"

portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/5488663698.html
Not a nice way to take care of a "solid companion".

Maybe the guy with the derelict "solid companion" '52 has the skeletal remains of his "loyal" first dog still tied to a post in his back yard ...

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...

Hi

A wide Midwestern and Pacific Northwestern variety:

A '49 Eight, solid Grand Junction, CO car, ratty interior:
westslope.craigslist.org/cto/5478474272.html

Two '51 200's in Oklahoma:
The nice dark blue four door for a good price:
tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/5463417013.html
A two door project, for sale for a while, softening price:
oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/5479760300.html

Now, for those with deep pockets, a handsome red '53 Caribbean:
kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/5481771940.html

A vine-covered '55 Clipper Constellation:
skagit.craigslist.org/cto/5479117411.html

Finally, that '57 Clipper Town Sedan project, cheap:

Just to balance comments on the '52 'companion.' He probably should not have added those words but I imagine he kept it to restore it someday when the means were available. I think he's saying It holds fond memories and he would rather see it get the use it deserves rather than crushed for scrap.

And look at the price. $350. The bumper alone may be worth that.ebay.com/itm/1952-PACKARD-COMPLETE-FRONT ... 7a83fd99:g:c3IAAOSwnGJWT0js&vxp=mtr

And if I were forced to downsize today, there might be a few crusty hood ornaments or bumper brackets I didn't get around to that I would prefer to see someone restore than tossed in the garbage by my nephew.

I'd give 350 for that '52 Packard for having the extra parts....

I'm thinking this is a typo or a very optimistic seller...

Edit: Also, a "coupe" that's a 4 door and a motor that "adjusts to 6 or 4 cyl"?

I look at these cars with tattered interiors and rusted wheel wells and bubbling paint with condition listed as " fair" and have to chuccle. If this is the case our cars can all move up a notch on the grading scale. If anyone is interested- the thief proof 222XXX number 55 Clipper is on ebay this week. All decals and embellishments removed except for the painted on pinstripe which is enamel on over the catalized urethane and i am told it can be removed without issues to the paint underneath .
