I am going to replace the intake gaskets on my 55 Pat. My question is: do I need any kind of sealer, or install them dry?

The gaskets should be installed dry.

if they are the metallic version, then I would spray some copper spray on them first.

if they are fiber mix, then you wont need the spray.
