Wow, Very nice.
So rubber floor in front and carpet in back? Was that for 200 only or ? I'm guessing the radio is an aftermarket, maybe it had a radio delete plate?

Hi Ross
What a nicely-preserved original 200! Clearly, someone loved and took great care of it. Is its history from new known? Steve

Ross, just like I remember them when they were new. Noticing the service sticker from Ross Motor Co., any connection to you?

My Dad owned that model Packard about 1958. It wasn't anywhere near that nice. It died when my intoxicated mother tried to play chicken with a palm tree. The palm tree won; she walked away.

A new customer of mine just inherited it. His father in law's father bought it new, ie wife's grandfather. Apparently the old man loved to diddle with it in his spare time. It had many little pieces of reflective tape stuck all over it, and house insulation glued all over the inside of the trunk. It also had some truly hideous seat covers.
The owner knows very little about the car itself and Packards in general but is very enthused. We were both tickled to death that it woke up with so little drama. When he comes to get it this week, it will be the first time he has ever seen it move under its own power. I will try my best to keep him away fatuous Packard snobs who would delight in picking the car apart.

I don't think anyone could have a problem with that car - I certainly don't. Almost looks like it just came out of the showroom. Stunning!
