Howard is most helpful, as always. Here is a good photo of the radiator for my previously owned 55 Clipper Super. Also two photos of the bushings I made to mount the radiator. The rubber bushings are from a toilet tank repair kit I bought at Lowes. The bushings allow for a cushioned mounting of the radiator as was originally done. JWL

You're welcome, but I can't take credit for the idea. It came from Big Kev. Many do not know that these radiators are mounted with rubber spacers and fasten the radiator to the cradle without them.

The sleeves are 5/16" fuel line tubing cut to a length to where the rubber spacers will be under a slight crush. The cap screws will bottom out on the spacers and can be tightened. JWL

Per the change in mounting I mentioned yesterday, here is the recommended assy order of the cushions and spacers, The same arrangement was used thru 56. A suggestion is be careful when tightening the screws because the holes in the cradle are in relatively thin metal and strip out easily.
