Simple, this one:
revsinstitute.org/the-collection/1933-packard-twelve-sport-phaeton/ Pros: V-12, over 100mph, chicks dig it. Cons: none that I am aware of. Craig

I like more modern and less flashy styling so for me a 41 or 42 180 sedan fully loaded with everything Packard offered in passenger comfort accessories.
Pros -- dignified transportation that can be repaired at a more reasonable cost than earlier engines particularly the twelve and doesn't need to be babied as much. It can be driven at speed more like a current car and with accessories such as AC and OD will be every bit as comfortable. Cons-- the original plastic interior pieces and difficult to find service parts for some of the accessories.

I've often thought about one of the early model dual cowl phaetons such as 1929 645 or one through 1934
Are there any downsides that one would cautious of.....? I'd prefer the '35 or '36 Roadster but the V12 concerns me due to the rebuild cost. And of course the costs exceeds the $200K

1947 Packard TWO-DOOR. I wouldn't care which Packard, as long as it only had 2 doors. One of the loveliest post-war Packards of all, IMHO.

Hi
A 1941 Custom Super Eight 180 Sport Brougham by LeBaron, dark blue, with air conditioning and fender skirts but no running-boards or side-mounts. Not particular about the specific details, am I? Steve

Not too distant from your wish is this LeBaron Sport Brougham, the ex-Steve Wolf (NJ) car, shown here at the Burn Foundation Concours in Bethlehem PA at their Packard 100th Anniversary celebration. It's a car I have always admired. The restoration was top-notch, it would even compare favorably with today's better restorations, I believe it held a CCCA Senior award; the factory AC was functional. Steve passed away perhaps 10-12 years ago and I've lost track of the current whereabouts of his car. Photo by this writer, an old Kodachrome.

Or rather this one. It drives so nicely without the sidemounts. What a horrible thing to add to a car.

I really like the 1934 Lebaron sport phaeton, speedster and coupes. Yes I said coupe cause they're all different.
Or the 1934 twelve stationary coupe by Dietrich.
