I know this question is probably a long shot, but does anyone know if Owen-Dyneto generator armature #22756 is interchangable with #22162. The former is for 1929-30 CD-840 or CD-865. Thee latter is for the earlier CG-678. The armatures look exactly the same, but I suppose the windings could be different, perhaps generating greater or lesser current. Here is a chart from a publication by Owen-Dyneto in 1929 showing the generators used on different models.

I'd give a call to Jason. If not, he may have what you need. He has been very helpful with me in the past.

This electrical component rebuilder does 6 volt too, has many happy customers among the antique tractor and equipment collectors. Owner Phil Hinrich grew up locally in a good family, conscientious about his work. Give him a try.

Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.
